Hitting the windows key from my laptop is a jarring experience in-game, would be nice to have a "disable windows key in game" checkbox - find it super useful in SC2, etc.

I agree, not everyone has a gaming keyboard that disables it for you like I do so something like this would definitely help people not accidentally tab out and potentially disconnect (due to the crash bug) and not be able to rejoin.

+1 ... sometime I hit the Windows key and then when I back to dota 2 I was disconnected or dota 2 crash, not responding ...

you dont need a gaming keyboard to unhook the key... numerous games have this implemented and can be done with a simple script as well.

Yea there are a number of options online that can accomplish this including:

* a microsoft .msi download that will disable your windows key for you and re-enable it running a separate file
* various other key mapping utilities, maybe even auto hotkey

Would be nice to just have the option in-game though rather than jumping through your own customization hoops.

This would be a great option to have. I hit that key so many times by accident.

Only is it's an option , I use it the super key too much to have it disabled by default.
