There's a 370MB download on Windows test clients; is this related / intended?

Windows specific files were updated because we changed the code, which causes the windows binaries to rebuild as well. Today's test patch is focused on Mac and Linux specific fixes and is not a full content patch.

However, no significant improvement is fps. Also 40fps, hoping to come up to the windows and the same fps, I gt650 60fps stable under windows

Thanks for getting the Chatwheel and the Radial cooldowns working properly.
The problem with the Steam overlay decimating frame rate as documented in Issue #96 (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota-2/issues/96) is still present. I think that this issue alone is causing the majority of bad framerate reports. While the fps is not as good as Windows, with the In-Game community setting off, it is significantly closer. If there is anything you need me to do to try to track this issue down, please let me know! I think this is one of the biggest issues still remaining in the client!

No issues so far with this one. I have overlay disabled, so I can’t say anything about that, but overall performance is significantly better, and client doesn’t crash anymore.

No improvement for me, still 25 fps when 2-3 heroes are on screen, around 35 fps when i am looking at nothing in woods. In windows i get around 100 fps, everything is set to low or turned off except rendering at high and details at high. Imac 27, i5 2,8ghz, radeon hd5750 1gb, 8 gb ram, 10.8.4.

No, I'm still under the test client will crash may occur, but fps is still very low. I hope that tomorrow release update will be a big improvement

Is there a schedule for test (Dota 2 Test at Steam Library) and demo (Dota 2) clients updates or the latter is just updated the next day?

I got no crashes, I got no low fps, EVERYTHING works perfectly on my mac

However,

The fan always starts to go crazy after 10 mins of playing, and it always go to max speed and makes lots of noise

Have you improve the usage of GPU and try to balance the fan speed and the usage?

(I run all settings on very low, the fan still goes crazy)
