Operating system sound volume gets decreased automatically?
I'm not sure if this is a feature in Dota2, or if it's something else in my operating system (I'm using GNU/Linux, Arch to be precise).
Whenever I set my microphone input to > 80% for example, it gets lowered by *something* a few seconds later to about 30%. I'm seeing this in the pulseaudio sliders with pavucontrol.
I have to add that I'm using a noise canceling module, but I doubt this has anything to do with it.
I thought this could be a feature in Speex (although, I'm fairly sure it shouldn't change the OS input volumes itself, right?) or it could be a bug somewhere. Or it's just something else in my OS.
Has anyone experienced that in Windows?
This recent reddit thread made me suspicious about it being the game.
Hopefully the dev team can confirm it's not? Otherwise I'll file a bug in the Linux support github page.
My bad, it was simply pulseaudio auto-reducing volume/gain.
