    I really prefer how the FoW mechanics are right now. You can still juke really easily but at the same time it is more noob-friendly and feel overall much better. If the guy you are attacking disapear for half a second, its pretty normal to consider the player would at least want to move up to where he last saw the hero(and re-aquire him if no other command were given). it's really just logical

    I still don't like it and think you are deprived of a lot of juking possibilities, but tbh I got used to it by now since I haven't played dota 1 for half a year or something.

    Changing it back now would be awkward too. Especially for the players that more or less started with dota 2.

    In my opnion this would just happen with people who play with auto-attack ON, but those same people are the ones that would fail on hide themself inside the trees because the hero will be trying to attack the enemy hero / creep on range, showing his position for who are chasing, so. There is the good and the bad side of auto-attack ON. I play with auto-attack off, so i have to do like in Dota1 anyway, no problem.

    About the vision, well, delay to show is nonsense, because when I go into a place I will not be long "0.2 ~ 0.3" seconds too see something, it's instantaneous

    I think MANY ppl here are misunderstanding what is the change, you DON'T FOLLOW the enemy heroes when he goes into the fog, you RUN into the last place he was SEEN, IF you manage to get sight of the hero again you will atack him, if not your hero will stop the chase, i see that some ppl here are thinking this as a game breaking scenario but it's not like everyone simply right click another hero and don't ever click again to go for another route of something else.
    i saw the topic creator saying someone else "must play low level games" but he is actually crying about something that is quite unusual on higher level as on higher levels players won't right click and forget their heroes for the game to decide their best path they will simply right click or Aclick on the fog to hunt down the enemy hero not wait for your hero to go into a chase mode.

    well, not everyone agree with ur pointe here, that why this thread was created coz alot of ppl think this new mechanic need to be tweaked if not reverted to the old one.

    I was hoping this is a bug. Anyway, I hate it due to several different reasons.
    I prefer the old fog, where it stopped the hero and asked for attack/move command in the direction of your choice.
    In dota 1 we had to gamble on target direction, sometimes you catch it, sometimes you don't.

    Now any unit can track you inside the fog and your direction is obvious to the enemy.
    Single click and get directed automatically. That feature is lame because there's no gamble anymore.
    Coming from war3, I feel like every hero has become bounty hunter. Takes time to get used to.

    Sorry to bump and if I get this idea a little late, or was mentioned (didn't read, derp)

    If you guys think that DotA 1's fog is pretty nice too, maybe in the future, there would be a lobby option to toggle these too? Like for example, "Legacy Mode - ON/OFF", I think that would be pretty cool feature

    Legacy mode as in DotA 1's mechanics etc. But I don't know if any legal actions by Blizzard can be taken
