How do you buy items on the DOTA 2 store without getting errors?

In-game: checkout does nothing.

Through (steam overlay) browser, I get this error: 'Failed to initiate transaction due to an internal server error. Please try again in a few minutes or contact support if the issue persists.'

I see no one talking about this, how do I buy items?

my guess is they are updating the store currently since there wasn't any new items with this patch?!

I think something broke, and no one's fixed it yet. Lets hope it gets fixed before the tickets go on sale.
Hell, maybe that IS when it'll get fixed.
