I hate every single russian
Clustering is all Valve seems to do. Lets put like 10 servers in the same region right beside each other hurr hurr hurr Australian servers is in dire need and dont give me that old SEA argument nearly half out ISP's re-route traffic from somewhere (no idea where) so we get like 400 ping on there while other ISP's get 200ish its still shameful and insulting.

You know its not gonna happen. Even if you get the server in Moscow. It will be ~100 ms for further part of Russian.
So it doesnt matter where the server is, Belgium(current EU) or Stockholm (current Russia). There is the same latency.
You can easily check it. Just make the "tracert" to both.
Played with 8 russians 2 days ago. Funnily enough, it was the best game I've ever had in Dota 2. Sometimes, the impossible becomes true. Anyway, point being: Russians need some incentive to select rus server, else it will stay the same as ever before.
You know, from my experience, this thing just don't work.
1. There must be 100% Russian server not shared with any other community. Otherwise it make no sense.
2. Russian server must be selected by default based on steam regional info. (some people just have no idea about different servers).
3. You know... it's a lot of pain for me. I'm a Russian (yeah lol). Most Russians i met in Dota2 are arrogant retard kids who think that communication = swearing and abusing each other and everyone around them. Haven't seen anything like this in any other online game, really donno why so many Russian retards love dota so much, but sadly it is what it is.
I'm Russian and i really want to have an "option" like "no Russians in my game" (and still have acceptable ping so US servers are not an option). Valve, please, just do something![]()
How come I can play on EU servers with a normal ping of 60ms and paly on US servers with a ping of 120 at max. AND I have shitty internet because i live in a village (700kbps only).
Why do you tell me you have a shitty ping to the RUS server? How can this be? I just dont get it.
