[Confirmed] Batrider vision not reduced when using Firefly

Summary:

Batrider's vision is reduced from 1800-800 to 1200-700 when he is flying in Dota 1. ( http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1295515 )

Repro steps:

1) Get batrider with firefly during daytime
2) Go into an open area where you can see your whole sight distance, with no allies providing vision
3) Observe fog boundary and use firefly

Results:

Vision just becomes completely unobstructed, no change in sight radius

Expected result:

During daytime the sight radius slowly reduces to 1200 flying vision, and to 700 at night.

Bump... Considering how much Bat is used in league games I think this is slightly more important than a "Low" bug...

This is very important I think, Batrider is a very picked / banned hero in league games.

Good find.. 1800 to 1200 is huge. That can make all the difference for knowing if you're over-extending a gank or not.

Yup, this makes his current strat of firefly --> over trees but leave 1 present, pick out target, blink ult much stronger than intended

Hmm...is this an intended mechanic or a bug itself? While I agree having full unobstructed vision while fireflying is very powerful, I could also see bat fogging himself if he fireflies too early on a gank, which seems silly.
