Hi,
If you give armlet (and active it) to spirit bear (from Lone Druid), the bear benefits from bonuses but never loss hp.
I think it is a bug.

I believe it was a courier version in wc3? So I guess it is a bug.
its a cute little trick and its intended, but the bear wont gain any hp, because he has no stats.
but he gains attack damage
Aui doing it right now vs. Mouz
it's warcraft 3 behavior. it does about as much as some other item since it doesn't benefit from the strength. IIRC same thing happens with heart.
armlet bear is a waste of money imo.
No str gain, same behaviour as in DotA 1 afaik, don't think it's a bug.
What the --ck?
How do you people find the right in yourselves to call random bugs as intended?
This is a serious bug, and I confirm. Tested on both DotA and Dota 2.
Needs to get fixed. This is just bulls.
Do not ever call bugs as "intended" like that. It is forbidden to do so and you are decepting other forum users.
Armlet of Mordiggian (Courier Edition) is not an activatable item. It grants the unactive effects to the bearer, but the bearer cannot turn it into its active state.
And when you pass it to the Spirit Bear, it turns into the Courier Edition version.
Edit
On the other hand, strangely you can pass the already activated Armlet of Mordiggian to the bear, which remains active, does not drain HP and grants bonusdmg/attspeed...
This is just weird.
I doubt that it is intended to be so on DotA... It makes no sense that it cannot be activated/deactivated directly, but can be passed over as an activated Armlet. If it was intended to work while in Courier Edition, it could just be activatable and deactivatable. No such workaround should be necessary.
Edit 2
I think this thing I've wrote above is just a DotA bug to be fixed, like the Gyrocopter's Call Down bug... Doesn't make any sense.
