Valve could exposing an API and let us code bots in a scripting language they want so we can make our own bots, that'd be a whole lot of fun for developers while we wait for the sdk.

+1 I would like the guy that makes the wc3 ai to do this. Valve bots dont last hit for crap besides the first few minutes
This is pretty important if they want to us to mod games in the future...

Blizzard WC3 bots? or DotA bots? Because those aren't the same.
Afaik, PleaseBugMeNot still doing his job as always (http://dota-pbmn.blogspot.com.br/) and Cloud_Str still helping as well (http://dota-pbmn.blogspot.com.br/201...whos-back.html).
+1 This could help valve a lot since I am sure there are enough people out there willing and able to script bots.
+1 Would love to see some of the BW AI coders come over to Dota2. http://overmind.cs.berkeley.edu/ Considering they can't do anything with SC2.
+1. That would be a huge leap forward for bot ai in Dota2. Just imagine the amount of time independent coders could put into it. I think all bots should be run on server side and allowed access only to player-available information (visible area, position and state of all visible units, enemy hero names and levels, chat log).
