    Dude, I got 30 Fps in fact

    Maybe this is a linux related issue. Otherwise my game is completely fluent, very nice and fast...

    Dota 2 is all about the CPU so you should be fine. With high settings in dota 2, 60 fps/hz is max anyhow.

    i have gtx660m only runs 40 fps at 1920x1080 all high and on.

    I got i7 and GT650M 2gb with 8gbram. ( Asus N56VZ ) I have maxed settings, but my FPS is ~35. It's still playable and all works good, so how the the hell you can get 60fps? Working on Win8.

    all about CPU? doubt with it anyway. I think all games is all about the VGA card.

    So you have only 4Gb ram or what? You will run Dota2 without problems. If you want to stream you can do that as well, but might give a lil bit freeze sometimes.
