I have the same system but with a 1GB 6750m, 16GB of RAM and an SSD...and can't even get a solid 30fps, where on the Windows side with the same settings I'm at 55-70fps.

Post screens with the fps enabled and your settings.

These are on the highest settings. FPS drops a bit when spamming graphic intensive spells like invokers but it stays at 90~100 on everything else pretty much.

If I am getting this error:

"Could not find required OpenGL enry point 'glDrawRangeElementsBaseVertex'! Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver needs to be updated."

Is it because I'm trying to open it on Snow Leopard, or could my video card actually be unsupported? ( NVIDIA GeForce 9400M )

That looks like a low resolution, what is it set at?

Read the requirements, you have to be on >10.7

I know. I would upgrade to 10.8, but I need to know that my video card wouldn't also be a problem.

Hmm, I didnt notice. It was set in a low resolution by default.

I just tryed it with 2560x1440

FPS dropped to about 45. Still good but worse then bootcamp.

    Hows it going for you?

That's still a lot better than I'm getting. It starts at 100+ but after a few minutes the frames always crash down and stick at around 15 fps.

EDIT: Just played a half hour game with Treant that kept the fps at around 80. Yeeeaaah! Maybe it's just KotL that breaks it?

1440x900 seems to be the best resolution for me on my 15 inch macbook pro w/ retina display for people wondering about resolution.

    Hey Zoid,

I experienced some spins after playing for about 90 minutes today. Occurred immediately after resurrecting. I've got a couple spins logs and a system profiler report.

    Model Identifier: MacBookPro10,1
    Processor Name: Intel Core i7
    Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
    Memory: 8 GB

Is there a way I can pass these logs to you, besides spamming them in the forum? Thanks.

p.s. I've been wanting to play dota 2 for a while, but didn't have the time to install Windows. Glad to see that this is coming to OS X!
