It would make people play the much needed Support players with Wards, roaming, assists and more so they can get tons of Cosmetic Items so they're happy and I'm happy because the map is warded when I play a non-support hero.

Would be a great incentive.

Lol!

I don't have problems with that, even when I play solo. Supports buy wards and courier in 9/10 games, if they don't, I explain them that they should due to their roll, but if they keep refusing, I buy sets for myself. Don't reward them with extra items or something like that and never ever rage on them. Be friendly and explain them what should they do.

I don't know what games you play, but most allies I get outright refuse to buy courier even if they have support heroes and I have a carry hero, so I have to buy it for the team. No Wards whole game. 4/5 games like this. I've played against high level players like singsing on MM, so it can't be my hidden rank.

It's a team game, not a solo one.

Doesn't winning already give more BP? (I haven't had access to my gaming computer since the patch, please bare with me)

Logically, supports who actually support should be winning more often than supports who don't know what they are doing.

as long as nobody really knows how battle points and random item drops are calculated we shouldnt argue about which player role should earn more of such things.
