Come on guys, dota workshop is full of trolls and flooders. Its difficult to browse the items because of ridiculous photoshopped shit. I think porn pictures will be featured as well if action is not taken...

first of all they should give us guide so everyone knows how to do such models

I agree. There is some obvious junk on there.

slowreflex, need your kind assistance to point me to the thread for the cosmetics toggling discussion because apparently those that I can find with the search button were all closed. Thanks bro.

First of all, you should already be able to know how to make a model and have proper tools for that. Steam workshop is a place where you upload your work, not make new models.

This would be good, although there is a forum for that in the workshop, a how-to guide would be useful

I don't know why they activated the workshop, there is no way to test the items in-game.

I have an idea, let's have valve not use the workshop. It's just gonna make the game whit anyways with how bad it's gotten already.

Just hope for the best. Earthshaker's model doesn't even have separation (Can't toggle his totem) and that didn't stop me from making something for him.

I personally think several of the models and voices in the game count as soft porn already. Though that is just my personal opinion. :)

Where are the moderators of dota workshop?

Or, even better, who are they and do they even exist.

I would make for a great candidate for moderating what goes in to Dota2.

Yes, absolutely.

From what I have read coming from Techno, I say he is qualified.

How terribly friendly of you.

Though I don't expect there to be any Dota2 workshop moderating, as much as it needs it..

Just look at the top-rated items. Almost all of them are things that Valve already put in-game as part of the update, but people are still rating these ripped designs 5-stars, obscuring all the others.

Invoker's Exort Set, Bounty Hunter's Pangolin equipment, etc.

Those are community-created content in the first place. They have to be submitted for payment purposes, even if they got in as the initial cosmetic update.

TF2 went through the same thing when the Workshop was launched. There were community-created items already in-game, which came from the old "Contribute!" system. Since said items were now available in the Mann Co Store, they had to resubmit them in order to streamline the payment process.

Dota 2 workshop is so useless right now... No guides, no moderators, nothing... Just bunch of trolls posting pictures of lightsabers and reskins...

Oi, I take offense to that one. There are genuine good items on there.
