On difficulties of medium and above, bots persistently avoid sunstrike, even when Invoker himself is completely out of sight. Bots will frequently run in a straight line towards well when low, and immediately deviate off the course to avoid sunstrikes the moment they are cast. I think this would be appropriate on unfair, but on all other difficulties, it is very frustrating.

Same applies with Pudges hook, even if bots have no vision of you, they will just casually avoid it through the fog when you try to catch them, and thats bullshit.

Yup. The bots have a code that tells them to avoid an area under certain conditions. Provided they are not distracted they will part like the sea against things like sunstrike, miranas arrow, pudges hook, regardless of whether you are visible to them or not. I think (hope) it's a temporary thing as to prevent them being ridiculously easy but still it is a touch annoying that they have knowledge of things they cannot possibly know...

You've obviously not actually seen the bots dodge sunstrikes, they will literally walk around it in a perfect circle with only a single pixel separating them from the sunstrike, as if there's some sort of invisible wall preventing them from entering that area.
Besides, it's a known thing that the bots maphack. Going by past events like Kunkka maphacking his torrents, ES maphacking his fissures or DP maphacking her silences (and yes these things were stated fixes in the patch notes, they're not just false accusations), it's pretty clear that the bots need to be explicitly told to ignore certain information that should not be available to them. In all likelihood, this is exactly the case with sunstrike.

Keep them below 250HP (or below a certain percentage of their max HP, idk) while also outnumbering them (2 players ganking 1 bot, for example). That's how I land sunstrikes on bots so far. Apparently if these conditions are met, bots will just run for their lives to the base, ignoring everything.
But yes, in 1v1 situations they change their straight path right at the moment you cast sunstrike.Remember, remember the 1st of November
