I've been watching a friend play with bots and I noticed some weird things about bots

-If you play Invoker and you Sunstrike on an enemy bot, the bot will ALWAYS dodge it, it will walk exactly around it because it knows where you are casting it (It will even stand still and wait for Sunstrike to miss)

-If you have 3 support bots, it is most likely they will have a Mekansm in each of them instead of 1 per team

-Some bots that get Necronomicon will let them stand still instead of letting them Autoattack

As someone who practices with Invoker a lot in Co-op, I can say for sure that bots don't always dodge Sunstrikes. You need to cast it when they are stuck with a particular behavior. For example, if bots are mindlessly chasing someone or are running away on very low HP (approximately less than 20% of max HP), it is a 100% successful Sunstrike if you aim properly.

Never noticed that in Co-op, maybe because matches always end up with stomping bots. I can only say for sure that if Necrolyte and Jakiro are on the same team, only Necro will get a Mek.

They have static build. Both Necrolyte and Jakiro will always buy a mek.

This + I didnt see them dodging sunstrike when they had no vision on me

I agree with the post that says they wont dodge if their AI is doing something else (like focusing a target), now the one saying they wont dodge if they have no vision of you is bullshit. If enemy bots are running injured to base for example and you use suntrike, they will most probably dodge it, seeing you on the map or not.
Same applies with Pudges hook, see how they dodge even if they have no vision of you behind the trees.

No, I'm right. I always kill bots running with low hp, if I'm sitting in fountain and can be 100 % sure the bots have no vision on me.

Ok, its unrealistic for the bots to know you're casting sunstrike when something far away from the running hero is givion vision on you, but if you cast it from the fog, they wont dodge, same apllies for hook.

And I just tested it with cheats on (-refresh command), nothing unuasual, no problems killing low hp heroes from fog, when I missed it was usually small play by me or the bot went back to heal himself with salve.

Plus they sidestep a lot in the laning phase, maybe that makes you think they dodge on purpose.

Probably a creep gave vision on you and you didn'T notice.

Usually the people crying "bots cheat omg" are the ones that call hacks when you kill their invis hero with obs ward. =_=

Not saying some bots don'T cheat with vision (kunkka and es could cast into fog, dunno if fixed or not)

I disagree. Hook is same shit, they cleary dodge it (in a bizarre path) if they arent doing anything, they have no vision of me.

Just tested in a lobby: Invoker casting Sunstrikes from the Fountain at bots during laning stage. They are taking them just fine, without dodging specifically to avoid it.

What I also noticed, is that if not chased bots don't retreat in a straight line. I missed some sunstrikes on purpose just to have vision, and bots were zigzaging a little bit near buildings. Also, this seems to be the case only for sidelanes - the bot on midlane ate all the sunstrikes.

The bots on the sidelanes sometimes can't decide whether to retreat or not which makes them wander around for some while between their towers. I also didn't experience this behavior with the mid bot so I guess this is just a bug that works out in the bots favor in some situations.
