  • Bots no longer defend high ground

Hello! My friends and I play only bot games when we play DOTA so we notice when something changes. There is one major issue that appeared after the update that made bots able to use neutral items: Bots no longer defend. When you go high ground, they don't care whatsoever. They let you take the barracks uncontested. When the ancient is exposed and attacked by creeps and/or heroes, the bots still don't care whatsoever. They just do whatever they were doing, such as jungling, pushing lanes or taking outposts. If your whole team is on high ground, the bots just hide in the fountain. They don't go out and challenge us anymore. Sometimes, creeps attack the ancient for a full minute without any reaction before we win. This was not the case before the update that made bots able to use neutral items. Can you please fix it? It makes it boring to play because bots don't put up a fight anymore.
    We play on Unfair difficulty.
Both Radiant and Dire are affected.
Tier 1 and 2 towers still mostly elicit a defense from the bots. Only the high ground seems to be affected by the lack of defense.

Would like to reiterate what dino posted here back in July concerning AI not defending the high ground. About every game I and my group of friends play is Coop vs AI for various reasons. Dota2 Bots no longer defending the high ground has been an issue for quite a while now. We occasionally jump in for a game to see if this issue has been fixed but have since moved on to other games that support multi-player Coop vs AI. I currently have over 870 hours logged on Dota2 Coop vs AI and can say without a doubt a majority of our game time would be played in Dota2 if this issue was fixed.
