  • Bots and leavers...

Here's a simple suggestion to aid in co-op games...

When someone leaves, a bot goes AFK too.
And we're done! Fixed! Ragequitters and trolls removed from bot games.

*To clarify, when a player leaves a bot game, so should a bot. I'm not suggesting AI's take over AFK players - it just wouldnt work.

I'd prefer if leavers were punished for leaving bot games.

So what if an invoker picker leaves? There's no invoker AI yet!

Also, that idea is nowhere near new. It's planned and will be done, but it's impossible yet. Only 14 bots are implemented so far, so good luck having a matching leaver...

Just have a look at this thread:

What? No I think the point has been missed here.
When a player disconnects/ragequits whatever, then one of the opposing bots ALSO 'quits'. Goes and stands in the well. So one leaver makes the game a 4v4, two leavers results in a 3v3 etc.
I'm fed up of people who get upset with the game ruining a session.

Doesn't look like a solution to me. If your carry leaves in min 20, what you gonna do? Dota isn't balanced for anything else than 5v5. I understand it would make it easier to win, but i don't think that this is a solution.

I've never played DotA. I don't care how things were done in DotA. This is Dota 2. This is what I care about.
