Now, the point of bot matches for me is to have a game while allowing constant interruptions and being able to quit early.

However, i have noticed that when i pause the game gets unpaused after some time, which is really annoying if i feel like having dinner or have to take a big crap.

Also, you cannot play with bots without internet. You have to be connected to the server. I was wondering if it would be better for single player games to be conducted offline. This would ease the servers by a lot and help save my bandwidth. Not to mention the ping reduction to 0.

So any thoughts? I fail to see any possible drawbacks of this tbh.

How about piracy? The game is in closed beta at this point.

Yes, this is annoying. Also, if for some reason you dota crashed, or you internet went down you can't reconnect, game is basically over...

This requires local server implementation. Valve confirmed lan support, so it will be there sooner or later...
      Sorry for my bad English.
