  • Two major issues with the ally bot AI

These issues aren't related to the enemy bot AI - only for the AI of the ally bots (for instance, when playing solo with 9 other bots). The issues occur with any bot difficulty.

    1. During a late game push, there is a chance that the ally bots will attempt to push a lane and then remain stuck in place when the enemy bots start attacking the base. They will not attempt to defend, and instead clump up in a random area on the map (as if they were unsure whether to keep pushing or defending at this point.) It happened to me twice so far.

Here is a screenshot of the issue.

    2. The ally bots will exclude the player in all their decisions and strategies (except for the vision the player grants them.) I'm not sure why, but I have a feeling it is because the ally AI treats enemy encounters (especially 5v5 ones) as if they were outnumbered (so, 4v5) They will often run away from fights, leaving the player alone.

As a carry hero, you could manage to farm and pick off lone enemies to gain victory - but supports and pure initiators have no chance to win.
