Creeps attack heros way to much.

  • Creeps attack heros way to much.

    When a hero attacks another hero the full enemy creep wave attacks you every time.

    This is way to easy to abuse only 1-2 creeps should attack.

    On top of that why do creeps attack you even if you dont fire?

    example windrunner if you click a enemy hero & then run you can pull the enemy creeps back with out even firing a arrow this needs to be fixed if anything a creep should only attack once the dmg hits not before as you can abuse this to pull creeps to your tower,

          As said, intended. All enemy creeps in 500 radius around you will attack you when you target an enemy hero. This forced attack lasts for, I think, 2 seconds. After that you can lose aggro (by stopping to attack the hero, running away, or issuing an attack command on an allied unit).

            If this is intended its stupid It makes the game so easy & the other team only hope is to also do it its really fail when you pull the creeps & never attack the enemy because they are out of range

                That's like saying having items, killing creeps, picking up runes and having ranged units makes the game so easy as well then. Since "the other team only hope is to also" buy items, collect runes or kill creeps. Or the fact a ranged hero can hit a melee hero a few times before they get to them.

                That's the point of strategy, you have to learn and prepare yourself for various scenarios. If an enemy team is pulling a large creep wave with them, do I run inside of it and have my ass handed to me? No. You hold back, perhaps try and collect your own creep wave. You coordinate with your team to try and take them on properly. And if you're ranged, you can also try and pick some of the creeps off while you wait for teammates.

                Dota isn't just, level up, buy items and charge opponent (like some other Moba's.. cough). It takes lots of coordination between teammates and tactical thinking.


                Also... their ENEMY creeps.. They would be pretty stupid minions if they didn't automatically go after the heroes when they are seen. (Yeah, let's just stand here, not help out our heroes, and get killed by the opponents heroes... We are smart creeps.)

                      THEY shouldnt attack b4 the enemy hero fires! they should have to wait for the hero to do a full attack not just click & then fall back with out even attacking & no in dota 1 the creeps only attack you if you attack a enemy not if you start a auto attack then stop it b4 firing

                        That's just not true, try it out with CM for example (she has a very long swing, so it should be clear).

                            In WC3 there isn't even an event for doing that so unless you'd start doing some crazy stuff with JASS that's ain't happening.
                            Besides, do you realize how unbalanced it'd be if it worked that way? Melee heroes would never be able to pull creeps towards them, only ranged heroes would be able to.

                              It works perfect how it is. The other team can pull the creep wave back? So can you. The enemy creeps move to attack you when you make an aggressive move at an enemy hero. They are defending him, its what they are supposed to do.
