  • Bots don't defend the ancient

Just played a very long bot match in which my team got raxed pretty early on, so we were under constant pressure, but managed to hold on for a long time, thanks to the allied bots defending pretty well. However, at a crucial point, they refused to defend the naked Ancient and just stood behind it instead. Fairly annoying, as I could have bought back into the game had they been able to keep the enemy bots occupied for 20 more seconds.

Not sure if bot replays are saved anywhere but here's a screenshot (doesn't really show anything useful I guess, other than that I was frantically pinging in an attempt to persuade my bots to engage):

Thanks for the continuous work on the bots, they're pretty good at the moment aside from the occasional 5 man dive into the enemy base :P

The one thing I hate the most about playing with bots on my team is that you can tell them to engage, defend or push, but you can't tell them to retreat or push/defend as 5.

It really sucks when the enemy bots are 5-man pushing top while your allies push mid (because bots just love to trade towers after 12 minutes), you ping them to defend and only one of them comes, resulting in you and that bot dying.
