  • Bots lack a "Focus Rapier holder"

I know this is abusing bot AI's, but if you rush a Divine (and go for early Aegis if you feel like it), well, bots will kinda ignore that fact and do what they do normally, resulting in a complete stomp.

Maybe adding a "Focus Rapier holder" would be a nice idea.

In general bots don't respond well to heroes that are far stronger than they are. It's an odd balance... you don't want them to pick fights they'll just die in, but you also don't want them to give up like they're doing now.

As a team they need to learn that they can cooperate through disables to kill someone even if they have a lot of items though.

I like what fuzzypickles said. They may be more careful about initiating, but once initiation happens they should definitely focus down stronger heroes first. Whether they go off of roles, hero damage dealt, or net worth, it would go a long way to making their play more authentic.

While I agree with these sentiments, it really depends what you're saying, Yarome. If the hero is only stronger in terms of damage, then yeah focusing them down will be great for them in winning team fights. However, if the target they're picking is pure tank and is stronger than them because of that, they're much better off focusing weaker disablers or high DPS/low survivability carries first (like Sniper). Otherwise, the bots will blow their payload on the tank, wasting time, mana and cooldowns to take down a single target, only to get torn apart by the rest of the your team.

I think they should focus Rapier carriers first and foremost by stunning. If they can't get a stun on them, they shouldn't engage the hero because they'll just end up feeding. Rapier carriers should be high priority targets in team fights, instead of just 5 man retreats while inside their own base.
        This ain't ova.

I dunno about this, whenever I get any big items (rapier included) I'll find entire enemy team in fog and they all TP away the instant they see me, is kinda anti-climactic to be honest :<
