  • some suggestions concerning bots' logics

    Some ideas to implement:

    1) When being chased and going to the base bots always choose the shortest way (a straight line). This way sometimes 2 or 3 low-hp bots get killed by a single enemy via an AOE spell (fissure, storm hammer, even battlefury, radiance or psi-blades effects). So IMO the bots should divide themselves into groups when being chased by a single enemy so only one of them will die and the others will escape.

    2) Bots tend to feed the enemy team when it comes to defending a tower/rax having the carry/initiator being dead or on the other side of the map. I mean, they shouldn't overestimate the importance of the structure and should wait until their carry is respawned before initiating a fight instead of dying one by one after coming too close to the attacked tower and thus the enemy team. I have found myself in many of such sutiations. e.g. I have to wait 20 seconds to respawn, while my teammates try to defend the barracks without me and die, enemies start to destroy tier-4 towers and i can do nothing but watch them doing it.

    3) When pushing the tier-3, bots tend to go to the enemy fountain attempting to kill the enemy team. In many cases they end up killing 1 or 2 supports before dying to tier-4 towers and the rest of the enemy team. I think the priorities should be reordered and bots should concentrate on killing towers. Split-pushing is now a secure way to win agains bots. Should you fix this issue, it will become much harder to do so, as atm you can quickly destroy enemy towers while the enemies are chasing your whole team near your fountain totally ignoring the towers that could have been taken down in a few seconds.

Wait, you get bots that defend barracks? What is this sorcery?

I mean, when the enemies are pushing and I ping on the map, the bots teleport to defend it. But, first, they often teleport to a place that is too close to the enemies, second, they usually come close to these dangerous places while the other team including me hasn't yet teleported. Here goes a 2 vs 5 engagement, then another 2 vs 5, then i'm left alone.
And yeah, i'm sure bots do def barracks should you ping on them.

I've noticed similar behavior in all three cases, as well. There's another thread about number 3, even. +1
