  • The wall of replica, the death ward and bots

Bots will sometimes walk again and again into the wall of replica trying to deal with the illusions until they die. Basically, you can sometimes walk up to them alone and kill 3 or 4 of them when they are clumped together starting with full health.

The death ward can also confuse them. When they come in range, they get peppered, they try to walk away. Then, when they walk out of its range, they decide to walk in again. So it basically goes like this : They walk away, they walk in again, the walk away again, they walk in again etc. They end up losing a big amount of health over time doing nothing and looking like they can't really make up their mind.

This problem and similar ones are existing because of interfering codes (like one code tells the bot to run in direction X and other tells him to run in Y direction) and can be avoided by priority codes (Like they should always run away when they take large damage)
And btw i know that sometimes its very hard to fix those bad interactions or even to add priority for bots work specially when only one person is working on bots

Hmm I played Dark Seer recently and noticed their wall behaviour has significantly improved compared to ~3-4+ months ago.

They tried hard to avoid running into the wall. I didn't pay too much attention how they dealt with illusions though.

Ofc it's still stronger versus bots than humans, but their overall wall behaviour seemed fine enough for me, there's plenty of more important stuff to work on imo.

For sure. Previously if you got a Wall down amongst the five-man push it was an Ultra Kill or Rampage for you, even though they killed you almost immediately. It was fun to get so many kills while waiting for respawn.

Take that in mind that their wall avoidance sometimes leads them to go back and forth in a foolish way (if you block their escape route with wall)
This part needs to be fixed because make the bots confused and unable to act

I agree, when in "I'm out mode" they should ignore the wall.
