  • Erm? WTF!5man Dota?

So a bunch of friends and I were practising vs bots, and then suddenly, from the 3minute mark onwards the bots went 5man mid mode until the end of the game!! Now I ask you, why the blue **** did they 5man at 3 minutes? They did not even have boots FFS. And the rest of the entire game was just 5man, it was completely screwed up, really pathetic. I tried to upload the screenshot here but it kept bugging out on me. Will try again later.

The bots often enter into mid-game stage if you push your lanes a lot, but even so it's absurdly early. Was one of the enemy towers already below 50%?

Honestly though while there are patterns to when they start their 5 man Dota, it's still hard to comprehend what goes through their minds. Often times, it seems to more so be based on the enemies moves rather than their own. If the enemy doesn't bother them they have absolutely no problem to just passively sit in lane and farm for 30 minutes.

Nope, we had not even thrown a single hit on the enemy towers. I was still happily farming away at the jungle when everyone just called missing and my other friend, legend, told us they were all mid. We were like, WTF, already??

Take a look into the mirror! You think you are completely unfailable. With your limited knowledge, you think that you know more than someone who is very deep in the matter/an expert.

I played a couple of bot games as broodmother and noticed that when I had a bunch of spiderlings in the general area of a tower the other bots would all teleport in. Perhaps they consider number of units near a tower when determining whether they need to 5-man defend.

Well they might also calculate that your team (np, void, huskar, lycan) would be considered a 'farm' team so they decided to end it early. Not a bad move on their part i might add. Them bots are tricky.

It's still a good practice isn't it? That can happen anytime of the day in a real match.

At least we did not lose that game: It was a complete stomp in the end non-the-less :P

Haha, I realise we did not have the best lineup, but we randomed :P

the problem is that it's impossible to practice gankers because this happens every bot game, sooner or later.
