    Troubleshooting doesn't seem to help. I couldn't even get the server to launch properly without metamod installed.

    My parameters for srcds.exe:
    Code:
    F:\dotaserver\srcds.exe -console -game dota +maxplayers 10 +map dota +port 27015
    My gameinfo.txt
    Code:
    "GameInfo"
    {
    	game	"DOTA 2"
    	gamelogo 1
    	type multiplayer_only
    	nomodels 1
    	nohimodel 1
    	nocrosshair 0
    	GameData        "dota.fgd"
    	SupportsDX8 0

    	FileSystem
    	{
    		SteamAppId 816 // This will mount all the GCFs we need (240=CS:S, 220=HL2).
    		ToolsAppId 211 // Tools will load this (ie: source SDK caches) to get things like materials\debug, materials\editor, etc.

    		//
    		// The code that loads this file automatically does a few things here:
    		//
    		// 1. For each "Game" search path, it adds a "GameBin" path, in <dir>\bin
    		// 2. For each "Game" search path, it adds another "Game" path in front of it with _<langage> at the end.
    		// For example: c:\hl2\cstrike on a french machine would get a c:\hl2\cstrike_french path added to it.
    		// 3. For the first "Game" search path, it adds a search path called "MOD".
    		// 4. For the first "Game" search path, it adds a search path called "DEFAULT_WRITE_PATH".
    		//

    		//
    		// Search paths are relative to the base directory, which is where hl2.exe is found.
    		//
    		// |gameinfo_path| points at the directory where gameinfo.txt is.
    		// We always want to mount that directory relative to gameinfo.txt, so
    		// people can mount stuff in c:\mymod, and the main game resources are in
    		// someplace like c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\<username>\half-life 2.
    		//
    		SearchPaths
    		{
    			//GameBin             		|gameinfo_path|addons\metamod\bin
    			Game				|gameinfo_path|.

    		}
    	}
    }
    The server instant crash when I enable metamod:

    I'm pretty sure I've done everything correctly as far as setting up the server goes:

    Anyone else mind setting up a server from scratch and see if you are running into the same problem? I've read the guide multiple times and it's leading me nowhere.

    Edited: Nevermind, apparently you need to use the development branch version of metamod (1.10).

    Edited Pt 2: So I managed to get the dedicated server up with custom bots, but how do I get the players and bot join at the character selection screen, and how do I change the bot's difficulty?

      Did you get Sourcemod to work? If yes, what version do you use?
      To get other players to join your server, you have to get your IP here and tell them to enter "connect %yourip%" in the DOTA2 console. You might have to open up UDP port 27015, if they fail to connect. Once they are connected they have to type "jointeam good" or "jointeam bad" in console to join Radiant/Dire side. You can then switch to your server console and add bots with "dota_bot_populate". To adjust difficulty type "dota_bot_practice_difficulty x" in your servers console with x ranging from 0 to 4 with 0 being passive and 4 being unfair.
