  • Bots using Urn of Shadows on Illusions.

Bots will use Urn charges to heal illusions. This is probably not intentional?

Oh man, that's a great idea. I gotta start doing that in real games to make people on the other team think the illusion's real.

A common trick with some players but risky. I tried it in a bot game once trying to save a Chaos Knight teammate, but the enemy bots didn't fall for it and stunned the real one correctly. The illusion was safe, sadly.

Well of course bots aren't going to fall for it...

haha. best trick. Putting a urn charge, empower buff on a replicate of your carry, watch as the other team blows there skills and you come in for the clean up

Well you'd think that bots might fall for it. Because bots will blow ultimates and other skills on illusions a lot. Kunkka is one of the most gullible. He calls the Ghost Ship all the time, so it's common for us to lead with illusions when playing against Kunkka bot.

Well this is basically the flaw of bots in all games so far. They're very limited.
Bots don't do anything that they haven't been programmed to do, doing something as high level as buff tracking to figure out illusions is beyond them, they merely do it via incoming and outgoing damage.

Generally speaking, the AI in all games only stick to low-level stuff like that. High level logic, like buff tracking, will probably remain a very very rare thing to see until self learning AI's start to become more commonly seen really.
