  • [Fixed] Huskar Ulti Slow persists after buyback

After being ulti'd by Huskar and buying back, the slow from his ulti persists

Repro: Have Huskar use his ultimate on a hero, then have that hero immediately buyback.

Result: The slow from Huskar's ulti persists on the hero

Expected Result: The debuff should be gone after buying back

This happened to me in a game with Lina, if that matters

    Match ID: 244328352
    Watch The Lina (Me) @34:25

Even more interesting, While rewatching the clip the debuff doesn't show up at all (!), even though it showed up the first time. You can clearly see the Lina moving much more slowly than expected though after buying back.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't there a similar issue to this with Bloodseeker's ultimate?

Rupture isn't removed by death, I think that's intended. Is it?

It was patched a little while ago I believe, so I don't think it was intended

What was patched? Rupture is still not removed by death, that's intended. http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1189936

Hmm, I just tested that and it seems you're correct

BUT: After I bought back, I couldn't see the rupture debuff over my health bar, though I was still under the effects of it (I was taking damage by moving), so maybe that's the real bug here?

I guess so, I just wasn't aware this was intended to begin with

Just to make sure everything is clear, Rupture not getting removed by death is intended, I don't know about Life Break's slow.

So that's 1 bug so far, the debuff not appearing over the HUD, and we're not sure about the life break slow

Life Break's Slow absolutely should be removed by death; it's just a dummy unit casting a hardcoded Slow ([A0QU "Soul Eater", giving buff [B083] "Life Break"). It should even be removed by Reincarnation because of this.

So I guess we're just waiting on Blash at this point
