    *buff/debuff is applied with a delay (e.g. Anchor Smash on invulenerable unit→directly remove invulnerability of that unit→damage reduction is applied ~1 second after being vulnerable again)

    Note: Because some buffs/debuffs getting applied delayed there might be more interactions which should/could apply on invulnerable units

    Clarification question for Mercurial Haunt: You say illusions can still attack. Do they do damage?

          Haunt is due to them being invulnerable and free to move before, which is quite off... So neither nightmare nor SotS enable them to attack anymore.

          Also about items: I think they're all already on the list anyway, and none of them work(ed) - I don't think it's been fixed, but I might be wrong on this one. (i.e. no AoE item like mek/mana boots etc.)

                EMP should work on (non-cycloned) invulnerable units too... I was going to say another thing but it's escaped me...

                          This is not complete. Let me add one.

                          In WC3 DotA, Damage block (base ability: hardened skin) does not proc if damage source is invulnerable.

                          This is not the case in Dota 2.

                            'Invulnerable Units' in D2 seem almost literally invulnerable by any damage or negative status effect.
                            As far as I know, whether it's buff on allies or debuff on enemies, a limited number of spells/buffs can be applied on invulnerable units.

                            Negative buffs/effects that affects invulnerable units. This includes :
                            Weave(both on allies, enemies), Meat hook dragging, Clcockwerk hook latch, Link(linked before the target being invulnerable), Global Silence(depends on the type of invulnerability, couldn't find pattern, I might have been confused because some invulnerabilities(infest) dispel GS through losing invulnerability), Wall of replica (illusion creation)

                            Positive buffs/effects that affects invulnerable units. This includes : (seems patched for positive buffs/auras all to affect allied invulnerable units 6.81)
                            any positive regen (salve, living armor, mek, arcane boots), teleport(test of faith, recall), so on

                            *positive X-marks (as well as negative one) does not affect invulnerable units.
                            *Mek aura is lost with delay (0.5~1 sec) if allied unit get invulnerability.




                            other than said spells weren't applied on invulnerable units. (tested in lobby)
