    In dota 1 spirit first deals damage then applies aura. Damage will be 240*0,75=180

    In dota 2 it first applies aura then deals damage. Damage will be 240 (for some reason it is 239?)

    perhaps they implemented the aura in the same way dota 1 did, as an amplification instead of removing base resistance.
    240*0,75*1,33 = 239,4 = 239

      It's just that in DotA 1, auras have a short delay before they're applied.

          maybe my memory goes wrong... but i remember there was a "fix" making aura applies first then damage...
          i think i was wrong. the fix is about the damage order of echo stomp

            for me this seems correct you have aura so you take fill damage.

                    Why? Working as intended, auras have a delay in wc3. If you don't directly hit your target with astral spirit but move it onto the target it will deal full damage. Looks like a fix like with every dota2 aura =/= wc3 aura

                      I tried moving the spirit to the target, the damage is not amplified

                        Nvm, I'm wrong. Hit the target while tauren was nearby on my first test.

                        Still, if THIS is not an intentinal fix why don't we get trueshot aura bugs, command aura stacking bugs and others "fixed"?

                          I would not be surprised. We got True Strike 'fixed' so it doesn't work against buildings.

                            'fixed' is the right word here since it doesn't work against t3 towers but still works against other inner buildings, lol.

                            Would like to see this as an intentional fix.

                              Bump for fix pls...... getting + 60 damage more than intended is making ET Broken. Pls Fix before he gets an uneeded nerf as with what happened with Undying.
