[Confirmed] Enigma's Black Hole should rotate heroes and issue a command to run away.

    Dota 2:

    Dota 1:

    As you can see enemy heroes are forced to turn their back in to black hole. After black hole ends their are issued a command to run away.

    It should force them to face away, but it doesn't issue a command to run away. The reason that Heroes naturally run away is because they are being damaged by a Tornado Damage Aura by an Locusted Dummy Unit.

    While I'm at it, Dota 2's Black Hole has a

    And Black Hole's movement ticks at 0.05 seconds in DotA 1. Also, vision is set to 800/800 in Dota 2 but is 500/500 (flying) in DotA 1.
    I'll look into it more once I have time.

        Not really much since the natural response to surviving a black hole is getting repositioned.
        EDIT: Well kinda with riki, didn't think of that.

          i commend your work op trying to find out bug but with all due respect i think u should focus more on stuff which has some sorta impact on game. ive played enough to know this bug or whatever has no consiquence whatsoever.

                We have turn rates in Dota. So there is a time difference of some split seconds between the two games for the reactions of the victims of the black hole.

                Add a batrider with napalm on top of that and it is even a huge thing that can easily change the outcome of the teamfight/gank.

                As in:
                -You are facing enigma when being ganked, you gonna lose quite some time trying to turn around and run. Compared, you win that time (compared to Dota 1) when you plan on casting spells in enigmas direction directly after the black hole.

                -Consider Mirana surviving the black hole with 10 HP. Can she instantly leap away to safety or is she facing towards enigma and thus has to turn first, killing her? (Same applies to pretty much any hero with blink and/or other escape mech - Puck, Timbersaw,Sandking.....)

                -Following the point above and even more important since it applies to 90% of heroes: Force staff.

                -Close-distance Blackhole. Both enigma and target on 10 HP. Who will get the killing blow? Probably not the one that has to turn around first.

                -Need to turn before targeting Enigma with spells/hits, giving her an advantage (possibly the difference between blinking away / casting a stun or not being able to do so).

                -Medusa ulti interaction with blackhole is different and can potentially make or break a teamfight

                -aforementioned Riki backstab

                -Bristleback passive

                -Thrall field building up next to you. Do you have that split second time to get away or are you trapped because you had to turn first? Same applies for any AoE spell.

                -Rubick trying to steal a spell, cast time of enemy vs turn time of Rubick.

                -Invoker Ice Wall


                These are just some of the possible resulting differences with quite some impact. While some are a highly specific scenario (low health etc) or have relatively low impact (turning before casting) in most (definitely not all) of the games, the hero-specific stuff (Riki, BB, Dusa) applies to pretty much any game where those heroes end up together / facing each other.

                  these are all highly specific scenerios and ive never had a problem with enigma in dota2 with this sorta stuff neways a bug is a bug. keep up the good work
