    Dota 1:

    Dota 2: recorded with 0.3 time scale
    Then used from Elder Titan him self:

    100 units slide

    Then used from spirit:

    400 units slide

    Most likely the issue is that astral spirit will stop only then channel starts. As you know echo stomp is 0.4 animation and 1.4 channel.

      There was another thread about how his stomp is mistimed as well. Can't find it but it is there somewhere. This is extremely annoying and would love for it to be fixed.

        Actually its another bug. The first echo stomp ever casted you can move spirit. 0-4-4-0 build is so popular that first stomp is casted 19 minutes in to the game.

          It's so obvious.

          This bugs with delayed stomp lead all back to this one bug.

          The spirit is supposed to start using Echo Stomp as soon as Elder Titan starts casting Echo Stomp, not when he starts channeling it. This also goes for Elder Titan. He is supposed to start casting Echo Slam as soon as you use it on the spirit. That one click on the hotkey of Echo Stomp should be like you have clicked the hotkey of Echo Stomp on Elder Titan and his spirit at the exact same time.

          Or to put it in WC3 language.
          The triggers should run on the event a unit begins casting an ability, not a unit starts the effect of an ability.

          Currently it's like this when Elder Titan gets the order to cast Echo Stomp
          1. Click hotkey of Echo Stomp
          2. Elder Titan starts with its casting animation (0.4 seconds in this case)
          3. Elder Titan reaches his casting point and starts channeling the stomp <--- at this point, the Astral Spirit starts immediatly channeling, it doesn't use its casting time, that's why it's in synch with ET's stomp
          4 Both finish the stomp

          And this is currently how it is when Astral Spirit gets the order to cast Echo Stomp
          1. Click hotkey for Echo Stomp
          2. Astral Spirit starts with its casting animation (0.4 aswell)
          3. Now, instead of starting to channel the spell this happes:
          - Elder Titan starts with his casting animation
          - Astral Spirit starts with his casting animation over again
          4. Now both finish casting the stomp at the same time

          The cast took overall 0.4 seconds longer. It's like a back and forth in commands. When the spirit reaches his casting point, ET gets the order to cast Echo Stomp, and now when ET reaches his casting point, the spirit gets the order again. So weird.

          I remember in DotA1, you could make the spirit stop multiple times with just keep cancel the cast of Echo Stomp (canceling without making the spell go into cooldown).

            ^Well, that part is fixed now. The spirit still doesn't stop at the start of the cast animation, but at the start of the channeling still.

              It still has a delay but since longer casting from spirit was fixed it is less obvious then you cast it from spirit.
