Forum Rules

  • [Fixed] Warding outside the map

    I remember having seen this on reddit. Just got used by Na'Vi vs Fnatic in Raidcall EMS 1, second game nearly at the end.
    Can't find the reddit post and didn't see a thread about it here:
    EDIT: Batrider is not required.
    1) Pick any hero
    2) Plant the ward...

    Result) Vision of the entire forest. Going to see if I find a screenshot. Now tested in Wc3 and it's NOT possible!

        Well, the entire cliff behind the treeline should simply be an invalid target for wards.

          with some additional spots - the last one is critical. All of them are NOT possible in Wc3 due to the cliffs being outside of the map boundaries.

              this is rather an intended change than a bug.
              The ward is on high ground. Of course it should give vision over the trees!

                            This is currently saving PokerFace in KDL from getting wiped out by Zephyr, as Bamboos ganks vs Tinker (after being successful 3 times) are all spotted by these wards.
