This is a severe bug. How come it's still not fixed?

This bug keeps losing me games. Its the inconsistency that bothers me the most: sometimes when shift-queueing activate fire remnant during a sleight of fist it will work as expected, and I'll return to the fire remnant. Other times, I'll go to the fire remnant then be taken back to my location where are started sleight of first (and my team will lose the game because I will obviously die!).

Any chance of this ever being fixed?

Right I ran into that situation too, but I've never played Ember in dota1 so I didn't know it suppose to interrupt sleight of fist. But it did make me lose games.
                IceFrog please fix this

This is really strange.. Usually, all moving spells interupt each other. I really wonder why Ember's spells don't follow that rule. If you get hooked during fire remnant, it should completely cancel and not still move you to the remnant instantly after the hook.
Same thing for sleight.. If you get pulled or pushed by something else, it should fully cancel. This is how forced movement usually works in Dota2. Even the ones with invulnerability. Ball Lightning, Timewalk, Waveform, they all get fully canceled when forcefully moved by something else.

                    Ember Spirit Bug

So this has happened to me twice, however the first time this happened I was playing in a local tournament and so we could not download the replay and prove it. However this time I was playing a pub and I downloaded the replay. Basically what happened was I placed one remnant in fountain then walked out to top lane rax and used my W. Then I used my W a second time and tried to ultimate back to my base for safety however the game said I did not have a remnant in base. On the replay it shows my second W made the remnant explode in base. (No It did not time out) I have a youtube video however it was taken with my phone (bad quality).

TL:TR Basically my W removed my ultimate remnant from the fountain and made it explode as if I had activated my ultimate. I checked if it timeout and no it did not, I also checked If i accidentally hit R and no I did not.

Ember Spirit - "Sleight of Fist" to "Activate Fire Remnant" Bug

                        - Upon casting "Activate Fire Remnant" directly after casting "Sleight of Fist" on an estimate of 3 or more enemy units, the remnant that Ember Spirit activated will disappear and Ember Spirit will stay where he first cast "Sleight of Fist". Ember Spirit still spends the "Activate Fire Remnant" mana cost and the sound effect is still played; however, Ember Spirit will not fly to his remnant. I conclude that if Ember Spirit's "Sleight of Fist" lasts longer than the time it takes to fly to his remnant(s), Ember Spirit will remain wherever he cast "Sleight of Fist" as if he never cast "Activate Fire Remnant".

When you barely make the time for "Sleight of Fist" to end and Ember Spirit to fly to his remnant, Ember Spirit will stand in place at the point where he cast "Sleight of Fist" and then instantly blink to the activated remnant in a buggy manner. The glowing particle effects do not occur whenever this happens.

I have witnessed this bug playing Ember Spirit about 4-5 times in-game and tested the bug in a private lobby. The glitch is guaranteed and has not failed once when executed as I stated above.

                        Thank you for your time.

I'm a little new here, so if this is not where I am supposed to post bug reports, please let me know.

From what I know, most of that is intended behaviour. The only part where a bug might be involved is the visual representation when ember jumps out of sleight of fist. Ember spirit is a hero that requires pretty good timing to play at the highest level. With a jump out of sleight it is for example possible to jump out of a chronosphere, since ember never gets vurnable.

Essentially the game registers that Ember Spirit activates his remnant, but he does not fly to it. I don't think that is supposed to happen. He shouldn't spend a mana cost for a spell that was not even executed properly. He is intended to be able to jump out of "Sleight of Fist", but he is not intended to "Activate Fire Remnant" and not do what the description says he's supposed to. If I "Activate Fire Remnant" early during my "Sleight of Fist" I shouldn't not fly to the remnant that I activated. I doubt that is what's supposed to happen.

                              Nope, not intended.
In WC3, using SoF and Active Remnant will send you back to the remnant after you're done being in ethereal form during SoF. You will NOT return to the spot where you first casted SoF which happens in DotA 2. Just lazy developers.
