  • [Fixed] If enemy Spirit places Remnant in fog, when I get vision I see wrong location

If an enemy Ember Spirit casts his Remnants in the fog of war, when your own team gains vision the Remnants will be shown as being in the location he was standing during the cast, not their true location.

Note that both Ember Spirit and the Remnant should be in the fog of war (I haven't actually checked all the permutations, but this one reproduces the bug).

    -createhero ember_spirit enemy
    -levelbots 5
Move him into the fog of war (keeping him selected)
Cast a Remnant some distance from him, also in the fog
Now move your own hero to gain vision

The Remnant is drawn as being in the location he was standing. However, the minimap gives its correct location. Thus it seems that the client does have the correct information, but isn't using it correctly.

You can verify the true location of the Remnant(s) by having Ember Spirit dash to it with his D ability.

Although my reproduction steps involve a single player, I verified the bug with a friend in a real lobby as well.

Here the minimap shows the Remnant in its true location, north of Furion, however the world draws it to the west.
This is a different example, in a local game - I was able to call up ent_text on the Remnant, which shows its true location (the little blue circle just above all the debug text).

    Expected result

The world matches the minimap (and the reality on the server).

    Gameplay impact

This bug may lead people to mis-predict where Ember Spirit can jump to, or believe false things about where the enemy has vision.

Alright here's a video. The quality is abysmal but it shows the bug well enough.
