    I played a game the other day and in a team fight Clockwerk (on the other team) used Power Cogs and our Doom was pushed ontop of a cliff - the one over looking the rune on the righthand side of the river.

        it wasnt the only skill that could throw u in a place where u could either die or type -unstuck .)

          No skill should push you into terrain like that. That's poord design and this should be fixxed. This is the reason we don't have VS and Pudge given Blink Daggers, so they don't cause you to get stuck. No skill should get someone else stuck by choice.

                You could get stuck on impassable terrain full deliberate in dota1 why not in dota2 ? for example SK (sand king ) burrows on some sort of hill or lowregion where u cant normally go and ur teammate tiny tosses an enemy on you , SK afterwards just burrows out again . Same for any hero that blinks to an impassable terrain , venge swaps with him and waits till an enemy hero walks by and swaps him in there ( since it has 12 sec cooldown with agha it aint so surreal ). And since there is also forcestaff , spectres dagger and other things that dont care about terrains , its quite easy to get stuck or to get someone stuck in impassable terrain. The only question is if this was considered a bug in dota1 or a deliberate feature .

                  Like I said, it's poor design? No skill should ever be able to actively able to take a person out of the game. No sane person would create skills that can actively place a person into a position where he maybe actually be able to do nothing for the rest of the game. The point of the game is to vs your opponent, not the game itself.

                    TDA is right on the money with this one. Also dark seer's vacuum can do this and i have seen it being abused by also killing couriers effective causing a hero to be removed from play.

                      It's not ACTIVELY supposed to, however I don't believe there's anyway to differentiate between an impassable terrain (like the rune spots on the cliff) and just a cliff side in WC3 except to just go around marking EVERY pit/hole that you can fall into and can't leave.

                      All sort of movement/knockback effects can do this and a lot of times they end up having some really silly effects. And sometimes even WC3 Engine also act weirdly.

                      535g to get a new flying courier + 1 TP scroll, that's less of a gold difference than if you die at anything above lv 10 (at lv 10 it's 300 gold loss on you, 250 gold gained on the enemy = 550 gold difference, +35 per level higher, and this is not counting any assist gold given to other heroes nearby)

                      If the enemy team can camp around your stuck position without killing you and your team can't come and kill them or just free-farm while the enemy wait for that one courier to shows up, then that's another matter entirely.

                          Poor design huh? You can troll the hell out in public games with AM/QoP + Tiny example. They blink on a cliff and Tiny throws your victim there and then you laugh.

                          Get used to it, this is Dota. Think about items/spells like Force Staff ^_^ it would suck if u can't do that.

                          Buy a TP scroll, end of story.

                            Clockwerk Power Cogs pushing over terrain



                            Repro Steps:
                            Pick Clockwerk and level Power Cogs
                            Have any enemy hero stand near a cliff/height difference.
                            Position Clockwerk in such way that the enemy hero won't be placed inside and be knocked back oustide the cogs.

                            Result:
                            The hero is relocated at the other side of the cliff.

                            Expected Result:
                            Power Cogs should not be able to push people over terrain.

                              Yeah isn't this just a giant duplicate of the rubick/ds etc. bug list? I still think that stuff needs to get fixed.
