    Summary:
    In DotA Allstars a the buff from the second ghost ship stacks with the first giving your team 100% damage delayed for as long as both buffs overlap. The current behavior in Dota 2 seems to be that it instead refreshes the buff but i'm not too sure, it certainly doesn't match the behavior of DotA Allstars at least.


    Repro:
    1) Level up Kunkka to at least level 6 and put at least one point into Ghost Ship
    2) Buy a refresher orb and enough +mana to cast it and Ghost Ship twice.
    3) Cast two Ghost Ships in quick succesion
    4) Take damage

    Result:
    You lose health.

    Expected:
    You shouldn't be losing health until the buff from the first ship runs out.

    The ship's buff uses triggered heals in DotA1, which has buggy interactions when coupled with other triggered heals. They fully stack, which is not intended (When void's backtrack triggers while having Ghost Ship buff on, he actually gains hp). They no longer stack in Dota2.

      But the example you gave is of two different triggered heals going over 100% reduction and healing, isn't this case a bit different?
      How does dispersion and Ghost Ship interact in Dota 2? Both are triggered heals in Dota 1 but i don't think either just stops working in Dota 2 when Ghost Ship buff is applied right? I think this case is more like that than Ghost Ship + Backtrack.

        Ghost Ship + Ghost Ship is the same. 2 triggered heals stacking. None of them stacks in Dota2. None of the skils just stops working in Dota2, they just work along. There is no heal included in Dota2 like in DotA1. I don't know the priority, but Dispersion and Ghost Ship buff, both will reduce taken damage.

        And even if 2 Ghost Ship buffs would stack in Dota2, it still would work different. First 1 buff would reduce the damage by 50%, and then the 2nd buff would reduce the remaining 50% damage by another 50%, leading to 75% overall.

            maybe it should reduce damage to 25% if triggered heal is no longer there.
            it all comes to valve/icefrog's decision.

                Until all heroes are ported and all bugs are fixed then WC3 isn't going to be forgotten.

                On topic, I'd say this is the bug
