  • [Confirmed] Replicates of Faceless Void or Rubick have 1k ms inside Chronospheres

I found this on Reddit but it was deleted

    Spoiler:

It should only be units Void can control.

Maybe it's bugged when morph is created via createhero and the illu counts as your illu instead of morph's. It's strange when only allied morplhing illus would be bugged.
    Please, just call me buny.

There are other strange bugs with replicate... I remember it crediting kills to the wrong person previously.

Probably, but my point is that replicate is clearly not just a normal illusion, and it has a history of being bugged because of it.

So, just moving around at 1000 MS makes Morphling's ultimate like an improved "Eye of Kilrogg" from Warcraft 2. In that game, this is a speedy summoned unit with a short lifespan that is reckoned as a scouting unit even though it has a very small vision radius. So, this would be a buff to the hero Morphling in terms of map control.

The amount of nonsense coming out of you sometimes impresses me.
How much map control is there inside a chronosphere..

Seems like Rubick has a problem here, too.

So the bug is, allied replicates from Faceless Void and Rubick will have 1000 ms inside the Chronosphere of the replicated Faceless Void/Rubick.

And another bug with Rubick is that an allied Replicate from Rubick is not frozen by that Rubick's Chronosphere (is frozen by other, allied and enemy Chronospheres).
Other allied illusions from Rubick (eg Disruption) work fine and are frozen.
                    Please, just call me buny.

I thought the bug was produced by using Morphling's ultimate on Faceless Void while he has 1000 movement speed and the illusion would not be able to move until Faceless Void's ultimate ended, but when it could, it would be with 1000 movement speed. I think you edited the title of the thread and now you're trying to make me look like an idiot when the fact was that the original message was vague.

Illusions don't copy buffs, so why should it permanentally have 1k ms? The ms boost is basically an invisible buff on void and his units.

I'm not trying to make you look like an idiot... I just edited the title to make it more clear.

If I remember correctly, in Dota 1 the illusions would have the same movement speed as the unit copied upon creation until it dies. Not really sure if it was intended or not or if it ever got fixed.
