Shadow Walk, Vendetta & Nature's Guise invisibility not broken upon attacking items

  • Shadow Walk, Vendetta & Nature's Guise invisibility not broken upon attacking items

    Attacking items while invisibility breaks the invisibility, since you attacked something. However, this does not work for 3 out of all the invisibility spells:

    1. Bounty Hunter's Shadow Walk
    2. Nyx Assassin's Vendetta
    3. Treant Protector's Nature's Guise

    Repro:
    1. Pick one of the mentioned heroes and level up the mentioned spell
    2. Turn invisible with the mention spell
    3. Attack an item while invisible
    4. Now do the same with any other source of invisibility as a comparison

    Result: The invisibility of Shadow Walk, Vendetta and Nature's Guise is not broken upon attacking items. The invisibility of any other source does break upon attacking items.

    Expected: All sources of invis which break on attacks, should break upon attacking items as well. These 3 should not be a random exception to this.

            did you experience the bug after the latest patch? it's supposed to be fixed in it.
            Make sure to read the Forum Rules as well as the stickied Threads of the Forum Section you are posting in.

                    Also I was able to save my lane parther Juggernaut from a ready gank from Bane and his mate, Bane used Nightmare on Juggrenaut while thinking I'm (BH) missing (I went to the side shop invisible), I saw that Jugger's HP are low, so I decided to draw Nightmare on me, attacked him and Nightmare got on me but I stood still invisible, so Juggrenaut just Blade Fury'd out of there, while our enemies couldn't do a single shit to me invisible and him magic immune. We loled hard because Bane was clearly puzzled as to why did his Nightmare ended prematurely w/o anything attacking Juggernaut from his PoV.

                      Nightmare gets transfered at the start of the attack, not when the attack hits. Windwalk gets broken when the attack hits. That's not a bug.

                        Nah, as far as other bugreport threads are right, WindWalk should reveal its owner at start of attack, not when he hits target.

                          ^No, not attacks. Spell casting should. Attacks should reveal at damage point, if the windwalk has backstab enabled.

                          E: Gondar should get revealed. He does not have backstab enabled. The damage does not come from his windwalk.
                          Clinkz should get revealed, too.
