  • Ward placement-click cancelled when clicking invalid spot

    Summary:
There are some spots in the game right now where wards cannot be placed (excluding cliff sides). I am not debating wether or not they should be available, but when trying to place a ward on a place described, it tells you, "Invalid location for ward", and then deselects the placement cursor. This did not happen in WC3, and can be rather annoying since if you want to place a ward quick and miss the right spot, you have to reclick the ward icon and click the spot until you get it right.

    Repro Steps:
1)Buy wards, go to invalid location spot.
2)Click on wards then click on said spot.

    Result:
The placement-click of the ward is cancelled, and you have to press the ward icon to place again.

    Expected Result:
Keep the ward placement-click active (like in WC3). In simmilar restrictive situations (Trying to cast a spell on magic immune unit, or pressing A to attack invulnerable units like a friendly courier), the casting/attacking click is maintained.

I have attached an image with a common spot I usually miss.

God yes, that is so annoying. The cliffs need serious fixing. If only 1/10th of a cliff can be warded, that's okay. But if that cliff on the whole area has the exact same coloured, same height, that is bad design.
