    Description:
    When buying two TPs, using it to get to a lane, and giving it to a different hero, the cooldown is shared.

    Repro:
    Same as above


    Result:
    Vide Description


    Expected:
    Item does not share cooldown between heroes

    Very frustrating when u want to rotate shit lane line ups without forcing your carry to spend money.

    In dota1 U can not give item with cd. I think, it's not bug, it is feature of dota2.

      You always can give a tp scroll to allies. It is the only exception in items with cooldown.

        i dont think this is a bug either... u can drop tp scrolls after u use 1 in dota 1... so for that 60 second duration u wouldnt be able to give it to an ally anyway

          [Confirmed] TP cooldown does not apply to pooled tp scrolls

          My understanding of pooled tp scroll cooldowns is that it should be per player - if A uses a TP and is given one by B, A still cannot tp for the cd duration, but A could buy a tp for B and B could use it instantly (assuming no recent tps for B!).

          21.11 gametime, deathprohet has 2 tp scrolls with different cooldowns (his own one ready to use and a pooled one with the owner's cooldown)

                is this reproducable? i am suspecting an ui bug rather than a gameplay bug.

                  Reproducible, both functionally and in the UI (the passed TP cannot be used).

                  This seems very limited in when it happens: it only happens when the TP has a cooldown (i.e. it cannot be used to double-TP).
                  If player A teleports somewhere (and so their TP has a cooldown), and hand a different teleport scroll to player B, that scroll will still have the same cooldown in player B's inventory. Again, this is not just visual - the TP scroll will be unusable for player B, say "Recharging" etc.

                  If the TP scroll is available/usable by player A when it is passed to player B, then it will accurately reflect player B's TP cooldown when it arrives in their inventory.

                    Pretty much reproducable. Any scroll that is given to an ally which doesn't have a tp scroll of it's own which is on cooldown, will retain it's cooldown.

                          Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt this intended/working properly? In dota 2, items have a cooldown on *both* a per-unit and per-item basis. When you use an item, the item is placed on cooldown no matter how it changes hands, while the unit has that group of items placed on cooldown for it, so you cant just use a different copy of it or aqcuire a new one. So when displaying a cooldown, it always picks the higher of the two- you either see the CD on the category of items, or the items individual cooldown. Whichever is greater. So its possible to have two items showing two different cooldowns in your inventory (one has individual > group, one has individual = group), or possible to have two items with the same cooldown despite one actually being off its individual cooldown earlier (one has individual = group, one has individual < group
                          This is very evident when you build two hands of midas on syllabear + spirit bear. Placing both on the bear inbetween activations means you might not have a counter showing when its off cd, which happens when the players copy will be ready earlier.

                          Note that using an item will only place that items individual cooldown on teleport, not other copies in the same inventory. So for a TP scroll, using one of your own shouldnt set tps in the same inventory on individual cooldown, just group cooldown. But if you had a stack of multiple tps, its logical that the whole stack should be on individual cd now, as it is a single item. If its working any different than that, its a glitch. If player A is buying a *new* tp after tping, handing it to player B who has npt tped and having it on cooldown in B's inventory despite being a new item, then its a glitch.



                          This is all significantly (intended) different from dota 1, as in the wc3 engine items were strictly on a per-unit cd, not per-item. So you could pass the same item between three heroes to use it three times. In dota your items were simply disabled by triggers to stop you from removing them from your inventory while on cd, so it couldnt be exploited.

                          So simply showing two tps on the same unit with two different cooldowns is not a glitch. Thats intended afaik. Its a question of nonstacked or new tps carrying group cooldowns, or the arguable question of if a stacked tp should have an individual cd or not

                              Why is it an intended change? This is a HUGE issue. Not everything that's limited by the engine should be changed. All items in Dota share CD with the same items. Why is this even discussable oO
