+% spell amplification not applied to sand king spells

    +% spell amplification not applied to sand king spells

    Good morning,

    This night I played the sand king and I noticed that the +% spell amplification of Kaya and Sange and Ethereal Blade are not applied to spells: Sand Storm and Epicenter

    However if an enemy hero (in this case Kunkka) has the Black King Bar (which gives spell immunity) block all the attacks, so no damage was taken.

    So they are spells but the spell amplification is not applied, or they are not spells and the Black King Bar shouldn't be able to block them.

    Or am I misunderstanding something?

    Apparently hero's have 25% base magic resistance at level 15... this however does not account for 100% magic resistance.

      Currently spell amplification only stack with neutral items e.g. faerie trinket 5%. 2 items spell amp does not stack.
      so if you have sange kaya 16 + ethereal blade 12 = still only 16. Does not stack.

      sandstorm / epi = magic, so spell amp works. 15.75 -> 18.15. Not sure how tooltip says 100/sec become 18. maybe every 0.25 sec. minus 25% magic resist.

      BKB grants spell immunity when you click it, so both sandstorm / epi deal 0 damage because these do NOT pierce spell immunity.
      if the spell pierce spell immunity, e.g. beastmaster roar ult, BKB does nothing. you still take 225 dmg (minus spell resist).
      and if you have Hood etc, u will take less damage e.g. 185 from beastmaster roar ult.

        Ok thanks for your reply, not really fair that spell amp's don't stack from different weapons but ok. I didn't notice in the dmg output that there actually was a spell amp added though.
