  • [Fixed] Invisibility breaks when dealing damage rather then on starting to attack

But the actual issue is that Wind Walk invisibility breaks when the damage is dealt on Dota 2, and Gondar on W3 becomes visible as soon as he begins his attacking animation.
And with "when the damage dealt" I really mean it. If you miss an attack agains a target with evasion, you won't lose your Wind Walk:

    Hi.
Just check this bug in first dota and second.
So in dota two gondar isnt out from invisibility when he try to attack Tiny. He just keep stay in invisibility and stun by Tiny's passive.
About first dota he will out from invisibility and stun.
    Video comming soon.

Well, the invis itself isnt a bug, you guys have to understand that even if it was like that in Dota1 It could be changed here.

Now what is bugged is the fact you got stunned BEFORE making actual hit. Which makes it unable to go out from invis because well, you havent attacked u just took damage

For example take sand king's ulti and an invis hero, if sand kings ulti hits the invisible hero he doesnt go out of invis, but if the invis hero attack the sand king, the invis breaks.

As for the situation said about. The fact that there's stun before actual HIT is made is a bug!!!! Not the fact the dude doesnt go out from invis, because he actually didnt hit, and damage (taken) doesnt break invis, but damage (done) does.

Please, answer if somethings not clear.

And of course i could be mistaken and this actually is a bug, what i descirbed is what i personally believe to be honest.

Do you understand how stupid this fact looks like?

          This is an example :F

And this is actually a bug, i just noted the thing it says in the tooltip:

"... causes damage to bounce back on tiny's attackers."

Which actually means that he is nullifying the hit and then throwing it back as a stun+damage

Which means that the hit is actually made but not "done".

What i said earlier is why it doesnt throw you out of invis, now what i said, is why it is actually bugged, my bad ;f

          -EDIT-

And above all FIX 3RD SKILL OF TINY!

You dont need to do any damage at all, attack animation starting is enough to get stunned, and this shouldn't be like that!

          -
Is this supposed to work like this?

It's a bad example and you should stop posting, Timon.

This is a nice find. I wonder how this works with assasin's blade and other formerly windwalk based spells in Dota 2. Prob best to address this soon before Nerubian Assassin gets introduced.

              From playdota:
              • The stun and damage occur at the beginning of the attack.
Before posting a bug read the Bug posting guidelines first and check the Known Bugs list For existing bugs.

Use the report () button when you need help from a Moderator.

In light of this I would consider it a fix.

Tiny's passive proccs WHENEVER YOU BEGIN an attack, so working as intended. I dont know what this Timon is talking about at all, srsly dude, if you don't know something dont pretend you do.

Craggy Exterior, Untouchable, Corrosive Skin (and Nightmare, after the incoming update) used to trigger after the attack landed in Dota2, but they made it so they trigger at the start of an attack, just like in DotA1.

BUT that's not the bug OP reported. In DotA1, Windwalk with 0 backstab dmg (gondar's windwalk deals 0 dmg, the bonus dmg comes from triggers) ends when you start and attack, except while fading out. But in Dota2 Windwalk ends when the attack is finished.
                    It's an intended fix imo.

Similar to the craggy exterior not cancelling WW's on the intended fix list though isn't it? Not sure where it stands

Wind Walk in dota 1 is removed when Gondar's attack animation begins, because the damage from it is triggered. Else it's impossible to proc both the windwalk crit and Jinada crit on the same hit. It's an engine limitation that would be foolish to copy over.
