    AM's Mana Break does not stack with Diffusal Blade's Mana Break.

    Currently, when buying Diffusal Blade first before learning Mana Break, Diffusal Blade works, for him which is fine. But upon learning Mana Break, Diffusal Blade still works, while Mana Break does not.

    Mana Break, being a hero ability, should have priority over Manabreak of Diffusal Blade, being an item ability. This is the common rule of UAMs (abilities always have priority over items), which is not followed here.


    Current behavior: When having Mana Break and diffu blade, the first acquired one works.

    Expected behavior 1: When having Mana Break and diffu blade, Mana Break should have priority over diffu blade. If we throw in Necronomicon Warrior's Mana Break, that one should be either second or last.

    Expected behavior 2: When having Mana Break and diffu blade, the stronger one should have priority. Diffu Blade burns 50 mana and Mana Break burns 28/40/52/64 mana. So Diffu Blade should take priority when Mana Break is on level 1/2, and Mana Break should take priority when it is on level 3/4.

    If we throw in Necronomicon Warrior's Mana Break, it burns 20/30/40 mana. So it should always have lower priority than Diffusal Blade, and higher priority than Mana Break when Mana Break is on 1 and Necro Warrior's version is on 3.

    Turns out this is a bit more relevant than expected.

    When having Diffusal Blade on Anti-Mage, illusions created of you will use the Diffusal Blade's Mana Burn, instead of Anti-Mage's own Mana Break.

    This is somewhat abusable, since Diffusal Blade's Manabreak deals more damage than Anti-Mage's Mana Break.


    Diffusal Blade: 50 mana burned, 80% of it as damage -> 40 damage
    Anti-Mage: 64 mana burned, 50% of it as damage -> 32 damage

    Diffusal Blade burns less mana, but does more damage. So not only does each single attack do more damage, you also get overall more attacks with mana burn damage, since it burns less mana.

      But melee illusion only burn 16 mana, so it deals 12.8 damage.

          How does the Mana Break of the Necronomicon Warrior and Diffusal Blade's Mana Break stack?
          Diffusal Blade grants an Attack Modifier to a Hero and the Necronomicon Warrior has his own passive Mana Break ability. So they can only stack in an Arcade match, where you can select Necronomicon abilities for your Hero.

          7.21c still bugged.
