  • Several single-target charge-based spells can target enemies even with 0 charges left

    When a spell has no charges, it should disallow targeting it anywhere, or on anyone or anything. This is the case for all ground-targeted charge-based spells, for Gyrocopter's Homing Missile and Shadow Demon's Disruption.

    However, the following charge-based spells can target units while having 0 charges left

    1. Rupture
    2. Demonic Purge
    3. Astral Imprisonment
    4. Spirit Siphon

    Current behavior: These spells check for charges after you target an enemy, and do nothing and give an error message if you have 0 charges.

    Expected behavior: Just like how Homing Missile and Dispruption work, these spells should check for charges before targeting an enemy. They should be unable to target units while having 0 charges left. When having the spell selected, the cursor should turn into that red circle with the strike in it when pointing on a unit while having 0 charges left.

    I encountered a similar (but not related) targeting bug. The game doesn't let me target opposing heroes with an enemy spawned Pugna's Life drain:



    This is a lobby specific spawn enemy hero bug, but i couldn't test if they fixed the vision bug. Can you tell me if they fix the bug which gave enemies shared vision over targets like Roshan or neutrals that are affected by Life Drain?

      The vision bug is fixed. You can test that with an allied Pugna and see if the enemy can target a spell on your life drain target.


      And that life/mana drain bug is really old.

        when i use item refresher not command "refresh" all charge is worked
        It's only for command "refresh" but in real game we didn't use this command

          There are ways to get the spell ready before a charge is ready again, without replenishing the charges.

              First of all I think Phoenix Scepter ultimate can reset (non ultimate) cooldowns but does not grant charges.

              Also maybe stacking CDR with Octarine Core / talents / Arcane Rune.

              Also it doesn't matter if it's possible or not. It's an incorrect interaction. If it's not possible currently it may well be with newer patches that add new stuff or gameplay elements.
