Yes. I think there are even situations where it turns on when your enemy uses some item/skill. But I can't say that yet, I need to investigate further...

        Autoattack needs fixing.

Also, Spamming S will cause your hero to drop their current target and choose nearest one again. Super annoying. When I right click a creep, and hit S, it should interrupt my animation but continue to attack the creep I had right clicked, not pick a new target. A+ clicking should do that.

yup, some skills make you attack. I can't remember which ones though. happened some times while testing stuff.
          Please, just call me buny.

This is an issue when shift-queueing aswell...

ie: If I play for example Tidehunter and want to blink in use bkb and ulti.. I usually shift queue like this walk -> shift-blink -> shift-bkb -> shift-ulti

however, if the blink is close to enemy creeps it will _ADD_ an autoattack command to the queuelist after using an item or ability close to attackable creeps.
So in the case above it will blink in, use bkb, start auto-attacking, and when all the creeps are dead it will use the ulti...

Edit: Looks like it only happens after using bkb, need to test it with more heroes..

That's an interesting find indeed :S
                Can someone else confirm this?

I posted a new thread about the bug, as it looks like it's not 'that' related to the bug in this thread.

*replying regarding your suggestion mainly the 1st page.too lazy to read the whole thread*

you guys are speaking in a view of a runner.what if you guys are the chaser.eg : using am and chasing a hero who's juking in the fog of war.blink and found/saw him but am stay still/stop chasing and doest automatically attack as the autoattack is completely off.how about that? im sure if your ping is high it'll frustrate you as well

No. I'm talking about the view of the chaser. If I am dragon knight and use my stun, or I am OD and use my sheepstick, or AM and use my blink, I want to choose myself whom to attack. In the usual case, I don't want my carry hero to attack creeps instead of a slowed running enemy. It's just a pain everytime where I sheep an enemy hero far away (that thing has a very high cast range) and not have much time, but instead my hero first turns 180° and attacks a creep. Especially on OD where you'd use forcestaff, it always results in not being able to FS in time (or FS to a wrong direction; same with Leap).

And? I know that Dota 2 is an RTS, but since you usually play only one hero, it is very similar to an RPG like Diablo or Titanquest - or even League of Legends!

Playing as Clinkz, used Wind Walk to scout their base, auto attacked an enemy, was horribly murdered.

Does your post have any point? Or are you just here to be a fucktard and troll?

OT: Seems like a serious bug. I don't know why people are still discussing it, if it's reproducible and it's obviously a bug then wait for Valve to fix it. When autoattack is turned off it should stay off.
