  • [Alchemist] Choosing the -0.2s BAT talent during Chemical Rage increases BAT

When you choose the -0.2s talent during Chemical Rage, and the recast Chemical Rage to refresh the duration, you actually get slower, instead of faster.

    1. Pick Alchemist and level up to 25
    2. Cast Chemical Rage
    3. Attack to get the rythm of the attack speed
    4. While Chemical Rage is still active, skill the -0.2s Chemical Rage BaT talent
    5. Refresh Chemical Rage before it expires
    6. Attack to check the new attack speed with the talent
    7. Let Chemical Rage expire
    8. Cast it again after expiring
    9. Attack to check the attack speed again

Result: Upon refreshing the Chemical Rage buff after choosing the talent, you attack slower than before. The talent increased your base attack time (I assume this is what happens). If you let it fully expire and then cast it, then it properly reduces the BaT.

Expected: The talent should not make you slower when you refresh the Chemical Rage buff.

When checking the status buff, it looks like recasting updates the movement speed, hp regen and mana regen bonuses, but does not update the base attack time reduction. So if you level up Chemical Rage and the recast it, you get the new level's ms/regen bonuses, but keep the previous level's base attack time. The BAT should update on recast.

    Please, just call me buny.
