  • Shadow Demon's disruption illusions on enemies

    Summary:
Shadow Demon's disruption illusions casted on enemies reveals the enemy's current skill build

    Repro Steps:

    1) Level up disruption
    2) Cast on an enemy hero
    3) Select one of the created illusion
    4) Look at the illusion skill build

    Result:

The illusion shows the current skill build of the enemy hero

    Expected:

The enemy hero skill build shouldn't be able to be seen by you and your allies

    Sorry for my bad English

Just curious, why is this so "gamebreaking"? I think it's kinda neat that if you can control a copy of an enemy hero, you can see what skills the copy YOU MADE has. Just seems like an interesting twist And by the time you can make copies of everyone they will probably all just have... every skill @[email protected]

There is a lot of mindgames involved in dota, the more information you reveal, the more you breaks it. Invoker is going wex-exort build for a new tactic with a roaming vengefull spirit. If a solo mid Queen of Pain realizes his build (by highlighting coldsnap and seeing that it only has level 1 quas), she can be more agressive towards him. People usually aren't agressive against a quas-exort invoker because coldsnap under tower is usually a kill for him and the regen from quas orb doesn't pay off the investment. So some information that is provided breaks some of the mind games of dota 1.
I'm sorry Valve, but the only way I know how to coach players is with tough love.

We all play for fun, try hards are just WAY BETTER than you. Read this.

that invoker is a terrible example... Better way to work out invoker = dmg him a little, force him to change orbs to quas and check his strength or regen stats...
