  • [Confirmed] Torrent and Tornado can be used to stack creeps!

Summary: Kunkka's torrent and Invoker's tornado can be used to stack jungle camps without removing creeps from the creep camp spawn area. If the neutrals are in the air as the game clock rolls over to a new minute, new neutrals will spawn.

    Repro Steps:
    1) Cast Kunkka's torrent on a camp at about x:57.
    2) Cast Invoker's tornado on a camp at about x:58.

    Result:
A new set of neutrals will spawn even though there are neutrals in the spawn area.

    Expected:
No neutrals should spawn while neutrals or heroes are in the spawn area.

I could still do this with both spells if I spammed -spawnneutrals while they were in the air. I'm guessing that it's still possible to do it regularly if the timing is very precise. I used the current main client to test this, not the recently updated test client. I will check again when the main client is updated today.

What's the issue here? Seems like a legitimate strategy. The downside is it costs you mana to do it. Perhaps it's a limitation of the WC3 engine that is overcome in Source.

........... The units are still there, within the checked area... I would call this an oversight rather than an engine limitation (hell it could probably be coded to not check for cycloned units in WC3 DotA too)

The rule is; unless the almighty Icefrog confirms it as an intended feature, its a bug.

HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE MATCHMAKING? MUTE SYSTEM? THINKING EVERYBODY IS INFERIOR TO YOU?

^Well that's not entirely true either... Some things that are just plain silly are deemed as intended changes (however the level of confirmation is noted in the intended changes list)

Some examples include multiple casts of ghost sceptre not working properly... Not actually confirmed by any mod but it makes no sense for it to not work

                              I can't find this in KBL v2.

                              Maybe I didn't search enough.
