    Bonus damage from vendetta does not directly added to hero damage before attack. So it does not affect on cleave and lifesteal.

    Repro Steps:
    1) pick a 16lvl Nyx
    2) get 3 battlefury (90% cleave)
    3) hit stack of mobs without vendetta
    4) hit stack of mobs with vendetta, secondary targets take same damage as in step 3

    1) pick a 16lvl Nyx
    2) get 1 satanic (~170% lifesteal) and use it
    3) hit mob without vendetta
    4) hit mob with vendetta, same lifesteal amount as in step 3.


    Expected Result:
    In classic dota damage from skills based on WindWalk is physical, can be cleaved(melee) and can increase lifesteal amount. Can't find proof link in playdota machanics pages, but

    UPD1: shadow blade works fine.

    This opens up a potential balance issue of crits + Vendetta though, doesn't it?

      in dota1, I'm like 95% sure (I will test unless som1 confirm) that you cann't crit on Vendetta hit, cause you perform a backstab

          Battlefury NA cleaving the ulti damage was some legit stuff. I always did this in dota1 the few times I played this hero as it was the only way he could carry games (through insane outfarming between vendetta ganks with BF)

          Not sure about lifesteal though, I would only use ulti to initiate but atleast the cleave is not working as it should

          Simple and obvious things that should get fixed/added asap: SCOREBOARD, Ingame friend list, Different Ping for Roshan, Add Notes to Players, Accept Button while tabbed

            Judging from the combat log, it seems to have been changed to a separate instance of damage. I'm guessing it used to be one instance but was changed when Meld was also split into 2 damage instances last Patch (to separate it from the basic attack).

              did the recent change to "backstab hits" affect any other skills too?

                Shadow blade works fine (as intended) (tested with Kunkka).

                  It's been 3 months now and it still hasn't been fixed, just tested.

                    Shadowblade can crit as well now, not sure if this is intended or not.

                      Battle Fury aspect has been [Fixed], I think.
                      Bonus damage still does not increase the lifesteal, though.
